--- The Principle of the School’s Foundation ---
The principle of our school’s foundation is “Kei-ten Ai-jin”, a unique, simple, yet amiable phrase meaning “Revere Heaven; Love Man.”
The name of our school, “Keiai” was derived from this phrase. For nearly 80 years since its establishment, we have always hoisted our banner of “Kei-ten Ai-jin” with unlimited pride.
“Kei-ten Ai-jin” were the words of Nanshu Saigo, better known as Takamori Saigo, a leader in the Meiji Restoration (1868). The founder of our school, Masaji Nagatoro (the grandfather of the present board chairman), found the origin of education in these words and adopted this concept as principle of the school’s foundation.
