Faculty of Economics

The mission of the Faculty of Economics, Keiai University is to cultivate students who have knowledge of economics and business administration, as well as motivation to work for public agencies, private companies and NPOs after graduation. To fulfill its mission, two departments in the Faculty provide curricula that reflect all major fields of economics and business administration, and that encourage critical thinking.


Degrees

The Faculty of Economics offers Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees.

Characteristics of Our Seminars

The departments provide seminars from freshman classes to senior classes. We emphasize the intensive face to face communication between faculties and students in the seminar. Now each seminar is composed of less than 14 students so that each student has enough opportunity to communicate with his/her supervisor.

Characteristics of Faculty

In addition to scholarly professors, the departments retain teachers from private companies and public agencies – e.g., Nihon Unisys, Ltd., JTB Corporation, NTV, etc. Such a diverse faculty provide students with not only the opportunity to learn knowledge in the text books, but also the opportunity to learn knowledge that is an extension of the classroom.

Full Range of IT Education and License Related Program

The departments provide a full-range of IT education, as well as program that helps students to acquire licenses. Many students have acquired licenses in the fields of IT skills, English, Accounting and Commerce before graduation.

Finding Your Future at the Faculty of Economics, Keiai University

By providing majors in both economics and business administration, the Faculty of Economics provides curricula to train students to be able to work for regional or international companies, public agencies and NPOs. For freshmen and sophomores, we emphasize the learning of theories of economics and business administration, while for juniors and seniors, we emphasize the learning of advanced knowledge and training for critical thinking. We also provide internship to juniors and seniors, which will provide them with an opportunity of on-the-job training.
